Who do you think is the Best team in Baseball right now and why?

I have to give it to the Brewers
They are leading the league in Pitching, and Hitting there Defense is solid. Plus no one really expected them to be any good what with the losses of CC and Sheets.
The NL is by far the Best Div in Baseball look at the top 5 teams records

probably the Red Sox. They beat the Yankees 5 times out of 5 this year

Red Sox or Manny-less Dodgers. The Brewers may lead the league in those categories, but we all know they can’t finish. They never have and never will!

Boston Red Sox

Toronto Blue Jays.

This run is certainly unexpected, but they have a big test in Boston coming up tomorrow.

Toronto Blue Jays.

Best record in the hardest division, underdogs, leading MLB in Wins, leads AL in runs, hits, doubles, batting average, and total bases, and top three for OBP, SLG, OPS, homeruns, and sac flies. They rank in the bottom half for strikeouts.

As for pitching, even though BJ Ryan has been injured, they’re top three for shutouts, wins, and strikeouts. They also rank second in fielding in the AL.

The Jays

No1 gave them a chance this year and look at them they are dominating every1 they just beat the White Sox 3-2 and series 4-0. they are 27-14 that leads that leads the AL east and the whole major league

The JAYS are the Rays of 09!!!

The Blue Jays of course.
They can pitch even though they were thought to have the one of the worst staffs this year. They can hit really well this year too. The only difference between them and the Rays is the Jays always kind of contended before this year but now they are ready to win.

I would have to say the Dodgers. They have the best record in the league and they are getting it done without Manny.

Guys have stepped up big in his absence and has performed well.
The have a good young core with Martin, Kemp, Either, and Loney all playing well.

Their pitching staff has the second best era in the majors.

blue jays because they keep winning even though people say they’ll start losing

Albert Pujols FAN wrote @ March 25th, 2010 at 2:54 pm

Okay, so I have to jump in and give some props to my team.

The Texas Rangers are playing as a TEAM.

They have had strong consistant pitching to start the season, with the lowest ERA in the majors for the month of May. They played some lights out defense, with already a list of top defensive plays for the year, if not all-time for the Rangers organization. Their offense has given you what you needed…if its a HR, they give it, if its a rash of singles for the small ball and manufactuing run, its there.

The Rangers have NO history of winning so for many, this is a surprise and very few want to give credit to the Rangers…but given the results so far, one would be hard-pressed to not mention the Rangers as one of, if not the Best team in baseball right now.

Let’s not forget, the Rangers have been winning against other teams front line pitchers.

The Brew Crew in the NL and the Rangers in the AL are truly the bright spots so far on the 2009 season!!!

The Rangers are playing consistant winning baseball, that is anchored by Pitching and Defense…two things that Ranger fans have perhaps NEVER seen!!!

It’s fun to be a Rangers fan in 2009!!!

I believe so to…although Rickie Weeks just got injured, they can still be a very good team. They just need to get corey hart batting good again, and starting pitching needs to stay off the dl.
